Federal Student Identification Number (SID#)

In order to receive credit for any DHS, USFA, FEMA, EMI or NFA course, you are required to  possess an SID#. An SID# is easy to obtain if you DO NOT have one. Here is how you register for a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID).

 

1.             Register at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid

2.             Select "Register for a FEMA SID."

3.             Follow the instructions to create your account.

4.             You will receive an email with your SID#. Save this number in a secure location.

Certificates for NFA courses will not be processed without the student having an SID#.

NFA Certificates will be e-mailed to the student from the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD
